Lesson Information

The Alexander Technique is a method of neuromuscular re-education. It works directly with cognition to teach new ways of organizing movement in the field of gravity. Lessons are structured around daily activities (walking, getting down to the floor, speaking, lifting something up etc) that are opportunities to uncover your coordination and your habits of organizing movement.

The lessons are tailored-made to you - your habits, your patterns, your questions, your blindspots. Each lesson is the product of an active collaboration between teacher and student - together we will create a shared language for your learning process to be engaging, sound and fun!

Your teacher, through senses-varied cues
(visual, tactile, verbal, kinaesthetic) will help you to gain knowledge and understanding of your own coordination and of our natural functioning as human beings. You will learn how to recognize and overcome patterns of tightening that impede and interfere with its effortlessly efficient design. The mundane settings of our explorations during the lessons will help you to bridge this learning into your own life. You will be on your way to learn a powerful, universal skill, applicable to all of life’s endeavours.

Cancelations are to be made within 24h of lesson time. Passed this time, and with no show, every lesson will be charged the full amount.

How long are lessons?
Lessons are one on one and last 1 hour.

What do I need to bring to a lesson?
It is recommended to wear comfortable clothing during lessons, as to not restrict one's mouvements.
