The name

Gravity

the force that attracts a body toward the centre of the earth, or toward any other physical body having mass.

extreme or alarming importance; seriousness.

is a natural phenomenon by which all things with mass or energy are brought toward one another

Grace

simple elegance or refinement of movement
pleasing quality ; a polite and thoughtful way of behaving

Gravity is the constant stimulus that we are facing ; grace is our possible response to it ; between the two lies our choice.

The mission

Gravity and Grace is the Alexander Technique taught by Camille Cordroch. Its aim is to enhance the lives of people living with Parkinson’s disease.
This neuro-degenenerative condition brings to light the existence of our neuro-motor system : discovering how it functions best, how it remains plastic and able to learn is the offer of the Alexander Technique. Anybody can learn and benefit from the Technique - but people living with Parkinson’s disease, athletes and performers are perhaps more motivated / inclined to get started / inclined to see the depth of its value.

About the teacher

My name is Camille Cordroch. The Alexander Technique has taught me (so far!) how to ski from scratch, speak english, and of course, solve a Rubik’s cube.

I am deeply imbued by how much this work has to offer and can’t wait to share it all with you.
